Ouirgane Gravel Cycling

Ouirgane is a valley village in the Atlas foothills beneath the Toubkal massif — quieter than the Ourika, with comfortable valley lodges and the launch point for the Tizi n'Test pass approach. It is the natural overnight destination for a Marrakech gravel weekend and the heart of our 3–5 day Atlas tours.

The valley pistes

Valley gravel through Berber villages and terraces — rolling, scenic and well-defined. The surface is mostly compacted earth, rideable on 40c tyres. Ouirgane village has shops and cafés for refuel.

The Tizi n'Test approach

From Ouirgane a long, sustained climb follows the historic Marrakech–Souss trade route toward the 2,092 m Tizi n'Test pass — the most demanding climb in the Marrakech area, for strong riders only.

A weekend or a tour

Ouirgane is the natural first night on a 2-day weekend from Marrakech, and the base for our 3–5 day Atlas gravel tour into the High Atlas.
