Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Marrakech → Tizi n’Tichka approach — Ride out of Marrakech and climb toward the pass.
  2. Day 2: Tizi n’Tichka → Telouet — Cross the 2,268 m pass and descend the caravan piste to Telouet.
  3. Day 3: Telouet → Ounila → Ait Benhaddou — Ride the ochre piste to the UNESCO ksar.
  4. Day 4: Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Skoura — Roll to Ouarzazate and on to the Skoura oasis.
  5. Day 5: Skoura → Valley of Roses → Boumalne — Ride through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley.
  6. Day 6: Boumalne → Dades Gorge → Todra — Climb the Dades Gorge and cross to the Todra Gorge.
  7. Day 7: Tinghir → return crossing → Ouarzazate — Ride and transfer back across the Atlas to Ouarzazate.
  8. Day 8: Ouarzazate → Agdz → Draa oasis — Descend to the Draa and ride the palm oasis.
  9. Day 9: Draa oasis → Zagora → desert village — Continue to Zagora and out onto the desert plateau.
  10. Day 10: Desert → dune approach → finish — Ride toward the dunes at dawn and finish on the Sahara fringe.
