Draa Valley Gravel Cycling
The Draa is Morocco’s great palm oasis — a ribbon of green running south from Agdz to Zagora and on toward the Sahara, following the historic caravan route. Gravel cycling here is rolling, scenic and rideable year-round in the cool season. Ride a day down the oasis, an overnight to the desert edge, or a 6-day expedition to the Sahara.

From Agdz, compacted-earth pistes thread palm groves, old kasbahs and ksour down to Zagora — the town famous for its “52 days to Timbuktu” sign.
