You do not need to fly with a bike to ride gravel in Morocco. We rent well-equipped gravel bikes from our Marrakech base, set up for the local pistes. Here is what a good rental includes, the spec to expect, how the logistics work, and how to decide between renting and bringing your own.
What a good rental includes
A modern gravel bike with disc brakes, tubeless 40–45c tyres, and low gearing (a 1× with a 10–51 cassette or a 2× sub-compact) — the setup described in our bike setup guide. Helmet, front and rear lights, a basic tool kit, bottle cages, and pedals. If you ride clipless, bring your own pedals and we will fit them.
Logistics
We deliver the bike to your Marrakech hotel, set to your measurements, and collect it at the end of your trip. For tours starting outside Marrakech, the bike travels with the support vehicle. Rent vs bring your own
