Three or four days is enough to cross the Atlas properly. Our short expeditions are genuine point-to-point journeys — Marrakech into the High Atlas and Ouirgane, the Tizi n’Tichka through the Ounila Valley to Ouarzazate, or the Atlantic coast up into the foothills. Every day has a logical start and finish, with verified distance and elevation.
It fits a long weekend plus travel, but delivers a real crossing — a pass, a valley piste, a kasbah, and a genuine sense of having crossed from one side of the Atlas to the other.
The Ounila to Ouarzazate Expedition packs the Tizi n’Tichka, Telouet, the Ounila piste and Ait Benhaddou into four days.
The Essaouira to Atlas Foothills Expedition starts on the Atlantic and climbs into the mountains over four days.
